Research and identification of leopards in Yala and Wilpattu national parks, in terms of identity, home ranges and lineages. This is a project of 2 years in the making, it is this unique knowledge that our guides and founders share that enables us to successfully track and cross paths with leopards. This research is a first of its kind in Sri Lanka and can be noted as one of the key unique selling points. We are currently working on a marketing document that will demonstrate and document this so that it can be used by our valued partners. It is currently about 2 weeks away from completion and we can send it to you once complete.
Further to the above, another key (and associated) unique selling point of Leopard Trails is the professional guiding team. We believe that any safari experience is greatly enhanced by high quality guiding. The Game Rangers at Leopard Trails are employed for their knowledge of Sri Lanka's jungles and their ability to communicate with people from all over the world. These passionate and qualified individuals are fascinating company, and are the ideal ambassadors to teach you the seemingly invisible language of the bush. Apart from conducting informative game drives, the ranger also acts as a host within camp, discreetly reading the needs of our guests whilst at the same time sharing his stories, knowledge and passion of the wild. We believe that our game rangers play a massive role in enhancing the guest experience at Leopard Trails. Please refer the attached document with each guides profile and their specialization.
