Coco Tangalla is black and white colonial villa consisting of 6 bedrooms, which opened its doors following refurbishments in October 2011. It is now managed by the owner of The Kandy House, The Last House and Casa Heliconia, which all belong to Manor House concepts.
The villa can be booked in part or as a whole house and can accommodate upto 13 pax. It is well suited for couples and families. With a diverse array of wildlife, cultural and heritage destinations to visit in the area, it is positioned very conveniently to explore or just serve as a stopover to or from Galle, Yala or elsewhere.
The property is made up of the Main House with four bedrooms and an adjoining annexe with an additional two bedrooms. The interiors are stylishly decorated with a mixture of modern furniture and period antiques, local art, with infusions of colour and exotic fabrics. The living and dining areas introduce some art deco features, all to create warm and informal rooms to relax.
The infinity edge swimming pool is located a few steps below the main house overlooking the Indian Ocean. The new ‘ambalama’ sits alongside the house, with spectacular sea views, and is ideal for lounging on huge cushions during any part of the day.
Coco Tangalle is also a popular host of destination weddings, and different packages are open for exploration.
